Renowned Poet-Educator Sandip Raut Sir Inspires Students at Shivsai Dnyanpeeth School

Shivsai Dnyanpeeth School, Buldhana, organised an inspiring and interactive interview session with renowned poet and educator Mr. Sandip Raut, a distinguished participant in the 96th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan. The programme was conducted with the objective of nurturing students’ interest in literature, poetry, and creative writing.
The programme began with a warm welcome and felicitation of the guest by the Principal, Mr. Pramod Moharkar, and Vice Principal, Mrs. Mule, who honoured him with a traditional shawl and bouquet.
The highlight of the event was an engaging question-and-answer session, during which students enthusiastically interacted with the guest. They asked insightful questions about his literary journey, his first poem, the inspiration behind his writing, and the process of developing creative ideas. Many students also expressed their desire to write poetry and sought guidance on overcoming the challenge of finding inspiration.
Responding to the students with warmth and enthusiasm, Mr. Raut shared several memorable experiences from his life. He revealed that he wrote his very first poem while studying in the fourth grade. He fondly acknowledged the encouragement of his teacher, Ratnaparkhi Ma’am, and appreciated his father for preserving his earliest handwritten poem, which motivated him to continue writing.
To make poetry more relatable, Mr. Raut presented a live demonstration of the creative writing process. Using a tree on the school campus as an example, he explained how ordinary objects from everyday life can become powerful sources of poetic inspiration when observed with sensitivity and imagination.
The session concluded on a highly inspiring note, leaving students motivated to explore their creativity and develop a deeper appreciation for literature and poetry.
The programme was gracefully hosted by Bangale Ma’am. It was successfully organised by Gaikwad Ma’am and Nalawade Ma’am, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Walke Ma’am.
